Back in the old days, babys were frequently named for the grandparents. Today, though, a baby is just as apt to be named London as a more traditional Sarah or Jennifer. When scrapbooking baby’s name, be sure to include information about the significance of the name; was it chosen for a honeymoon vacation spot, a favorite great-uncle, or an author both mom and dad love. If the baby is named for a relative or ancestor, be sure to include a photo of that person as a remembrance.

In addition, you can add detailed information about the ancestor and namesake, like whether they share eye color, hair color, and (as baby grows a little older) disposition. If the person is still living, don’t forget to have them add a personal, handwritten note to baby on the scrapbook page.
